Beef Cattle Herdsperson | Penchecker

Full-Time | Day Shift - 11 days on, 3 days off

​

Duties can include:

​

· Pen checking, identifying ill or injured animals

· Providing necessary treatment or care to all livestock

· Maintaining digital computer records for cattle treatments and procedures

· Ensure cattle have access to adequate feed and water daily

· Shipping, receiving, and vaccinating/processing cattle

· Facility/equipment maintenance

· Bedding/pen maintenance

· General cattle farm duties

· General cleaning and upkeep duties

 

Qualifications/Skills:

​

· Ability to lift 50lbs+, work outside in all weather elements, and walk in all types of terrain

· Safe work habits

· Ability to work in a team environment

​

Applicant must possess:

​

· Class 5 driver's license

· Experience working with cattle

​
